USA still betting favorite but I feel this is the closest to a draw or advantage Europe in a long time. If I were a betting man, I'd have a hard time putting money either way on this cup.

1) Rory, Hovland, and Rahm are playing REALLY well right now. Throw in Fitzpatrick and Rose (who is streaky but plays well in Ryder Cups). Euro team is probably as deep as ever.

2) Scheffler is showing signs of being human...worst rounds of the year this weekend, so you hope it doesn't get him off track mentally.

3) some American rookies Clark, Harman, Homa, and possibly Glover....really worry about nerves with some of those guys.

4) It's in Europe....and USA hasn't won in Europe since 1993.

Can't freakin' wait until Sept 29th!!

Team Europe will be ready to play. I think Rahm, Rory, Viktor, Fleetwood, Fitzpatrick, Lowry, Hatton, Rose, Straka and MacIntyre are on that team. I think they need the Italian Molinari for home crowd support so that leaves 1 spot left to fill.

Molinari is a vice captain and his brother too I think. Aberg or Hoorgard will probably get a pick.

Scheffler putting scares the crap out of me right now. I watched him 4 putt today from like 20'. Americans have more depth but agree this feels like 15-13 type final.

I would never bet against Europe on European soil. Though Italy is a little different, not a huge golf nation so the raucous crowd will need to travel.

Me too. Putting is what has kept him from winning more tournaments this year and is a must have for Ryder Cups.

Tuesday is going to be very interesting with the captains picks being announced. I worry that Zach Johnson is looking for any reason(good play this weekend from guys on the bubble) to not pick Koepka. There will be a lot of rookies on this Ryder Cup team and Koepka is still one of the top American golfers.

I hope Captain Zach picks Rickie, Jordan, Brooks, Morikawa, Young and JT.

Rahm has been shaky of late. But until proven otherwise, Europe lessor talent tends to play up for the Ryder cup and US studs play down.

I think you are going to see a very motivated U.S. team this year. I can't tell you how many times I've heard from the media "haven't won on foreign soil in 30 years". If that isn't motivation to win, then I don't know what is.
