Golf trip coming up.
28 individuals, assigned handicaps because several do not play all year until this trip. (These players aren't going to pay for a GHIN app) There is an individual low net category. Day money paid each day and overall tournament medalist, 2nd, and 3rd place.

4 man teams. Modified Stableford format. An 18 handicap player gets a pop on every hole, award points on net score. A 5 handicap player gets a pop on 5 hardest holes, etc.
Team total scores determines team portion of the tournament.

Play 4 different courses.

Is there an app out there, or a spreadsheet out there that would help keep track of all this?

So you just give a pop on certain holes instead of measuring point totals against a quota? If someone has a 20 handicap do they get a double pop on the hardest two holes?

I could probably update my spreadsheet to accommodate that. We take everyone's handicap and subtract it from 36. So if you are a 20 handicap you have a quota of 16 (par is 2 points for us, bogey 1, so pretty accurate). Then that quota adjusts each day based on your score. So

But I can probably just remove those sheets and send over the Excel for you if none of these apps work.

27 golf friends will go on a golf trip for four days of golf at different courses in a money tournament but not pay $50 for a handicap?

If you're the main trip organizer, like I am for a lot of my trips, just put somebody else in charge of that!

Yes the players with 19 or greater handicap get double pop holes. The player's net score on each hole determines the stableford point received.

We don't do quotas. We used to when I first started going but they changed it several years ago.

I'm trying to contact Unknown Golf. If they will do it for a reasonable price, we'll just divide it up by 28 players and have everyone pay the bookkeeper fee.

I'm not the main organizer but me and a couple of others get stuck figuring everything out, printing out the day sheet results, making envelopes and divvying out the money, while everyone else is relaxing and enjoying their vacation.

Post an address and I'm happy to send our Excel sheet over if it will help. We use it for a 72-person tournament. Scores for all 72 takes all of about 30 minutes, typically during lunch. Just input the raw scores and it tells you who gets the cash for the day and has an individual and team leaderboard. Initial setup can typically all be done well in advance of the tournament.

Have the cash envelopes pre-made, marked, and paper-clipped/binder-clipped together.

By the way - stableford scoring is a natural for point games. Just give everyone a different goal and then pay out according to plus points. Simple.
