Any good bars/breweries nearby for off campus festivities?

Played the North and South on the same day back in March. Fun times!

The Spot was a solid old school sports bar we visited; was basically right across the street from our hotel in La Jolla

Tons of good places south at Pacific Beach.

If you go North, you will hit DelMar and there are great spots there as well for "festivities"

We had a good time at PB Shore club after our round! Almost too good…

It's been a long time since I lived in San Diego, but La Jolla has always been a nice place with a lot of good restaurants.

For a really good meal head north to Del Mar.
Jake's is right on the beach. If going at peak time you will need a reservation. One of my favorite places to eat in SoCal.

Any tips on getting a tee time? They open 90 days prior. When we jumped on exactly - all the times were sold out?? There is also an option for 7 days out. Do times open up for that? Or do you pretty much have to go through a 3rd party?

The service bots gobbling them up have definitely effed things up. How many in your group?

If you have 3-4, a service is probably your best bet. That said, you'll want to contact them early (more than 90 days), because even a service is no guarantee if you wait. At the same time, keep checking the site. You may get lucky and a good time briefly opens. That said, what I found mostly opens are times later in the day where finishing will likely be an issue. If you have 1-2, show up before dawn and get on the list to be worked in

If you stay at the Hilton right there you can book tee times through them for a small fee. You have to email or call them.

I just booked through the Hilton to get my spot

Drove by the other day on a work trip. Threw my bag of merch in the backseat of the rental....and forgot it. Shockingly it hasn't been turned in yet.

Good/bad is I only spent $75 (apparel kinda sucks).
