Will probably stay and play at Golden Nugget but if there was a " must play " course in the vicinity I would adjust my plans. Headed there next week. TIA

Prefer going 30 minutes further to Coushatta. Casino and hotel not as nice but Love Koasati Pines.

I'm not a fan of the nugget course. I like the course at Coushata a lot. I also like the course at l'auberge.

I played the Golden Nugget course over the summer. It was in okay shape, but I didn't feel it was worth the money. I would recommend going over to Coushatta if possible.

Coushatta is really good. Is Grey Plantation private now?

The National Golf Club of Louisiana used to be pretty good/fun. I haven't heard much good about the Nugget course. And L'Auberge's is good, but not great IMO.

I like the Nugget course better than the LB course.

It's more interesting and quite a bit more challenging than the LB course.

Contraband is good if you want to get drunk and play some golf. Golden Nugget is good if you are looking for a little bit more of a challenge. Mallard is also a pretty fun track that is fairly cheap. I recommend getting an early tee time if you play out there. Can get pretty slow in the afternoon.
