Our group is doing Myrtle Beach this year. We have a tentative plan but any must plays or recs are appreciated.

Pawleys Plantation was my fave I played, but it was the only "nice" course on my trip.

Have heard you should looks at Caledonia and True Blue for sure.

Caledonia.

Also True Blue and Glen Dornoch. All the Big Cats courses are great.

The beach has some phenomenal courses.

I'll be doing the same trip in May and have the golf figured. Where are the best places to eat? We may like to eat more than we like to golf!

That's a nice lineup. If you're not planning to play 36/day, all those courses except Caledonia will negotiate a 9 hole replay. For our 7 day Beach trips, we'd do 18 own ball in the morning, nice lunch and then 9 hole scramble in the afternoon. Fun and not as much a beating as 36.
