Wife and I are going to Cloudland at McLemore Resort for a couple of nights outside of Chattanooga. Anybody played the courses there? Highlands or The Keep which just opened. They look incredible.

Son and I played two rounds and stayed at the hotel in August before he went back to UGA. Everything there is top notch. Make sure to allot time for the putting course and short course. Both are a lot of fun. Views are amazing. 18 is everything you have been told.

Bring your AMEX, you'll need it....dinner for the two of us in the steakhouse with a couple old fashioned ran me $400. A transfusion on the course is $20.

The Keep had not opened yet when we were there.

PM me if you want any other intel.

Good intel thanks. We have an employee rate on the room for $60/night so I won't feel too bad about splurging elsewhere.

I wasn't really paying that much attention until we got into a rain delay, ordered 2 double transfusions for $80....I gave her $100 bill, she put it in her pouch, smiled and drove away!

Enjoy. It's definitely a great spot and well off the beaten path.

Went in 2023 for the Tennessee game. Had a great time.

The Highlands is definitely unique. LOTS of elevation change. The 2nd shot on the par 5 6th broke the slope feature on my range finder. It was a lot of fun but also not a place I'd want to play everyday. The 18th hole is crazy. Definitely one of the coolest holes I've played/seen. Don't miss left.

The Keep was just being built when we were there. Social media pics and descriptions make it look and sound awesome. Should be a much better course than The Highlands. I believe it's walking only with a caddie required.

We spent hours on the putting and short courses after our round. The food was great and I don't remember it being incredibly overpriced for the type of club it is.

Yeah the Keep has a very Sheep Ranch vibe to it from what I see online. There's a good chance we go back in September-ish so I may save it until then.
