Nothing. You got it. There's not much to the place, that is to say there aren't hidden gems. Everything is right in front of you and it's awesome. The pub there is great. There is an upstairs which isn't entirely obvious

The on course white chocolate macadamia nut cookie is one of the best cookies I've ever had.

All the food/restaurants are great, and August weather is usually the best.

All Aggies going

We did discover that starting this year, all reservations will be a lottery vs just calling the day they become available and waiting on hold for hours.

Glad we got in while we could because those lottery things mean it's just going to start costing more money from people reselling them.

Long ass flight from DFW. We scooped them up right as the flights got released. 50k miles RT ain't bad!

The protein balls are excellent (that's what she said). The new restaurant at Old Mac is fantastic, but expensive. Still worth it, I think.

If you make it into the town of Bandon, make sure you stop at Tony's crab shack.

Did anyone else enter the winter 2026 lottery? I'm number 750 in line - no idea if that means I'll end up with a tee time and place to stay or not.

All of the restaurants are good. We just did a different one each night and ended the trip with a steak dinner at Ghost Tree. Never left the resort.

Agreed on the protein balls. Have a couple of Transfusions on the course and do a plunge into the Pacific as well. Tip your caddies well especially if you are looping twice. If you don't typically walk, start walking...a lot! Walking 36 after playing all week can be tough if you're not used to it, even if your fit. Enjoy, it's incredible.

Ended up getting the booking call from Bandon today and I'm all set for November 2026!

We enjoyed eating off property one night.

We were staying off property and had most all meals on property.

we went into bandon one night … edgewaters. Everyone enjoyed it and it was easy and cheaper.

Par 3 and punch bowl a bit disappointing for me.

Would try to minimize 36 days and tack on par 3 and punch bowl to an 18 hole day.

If you do 36, Change socks on the second 18.

2nd round in a day is at a discount as I recall.

This was a father son trip and Shoe (caddy master I think) tells us about the Bandonista discount when we unload two suvs of fathers and sons on the first day… we had no idea and nobody mentioned in booking. All boys under 18 were free or half price greens fees … it was incredible… saved every dad $1,000s.

Life lesson, never be in such a hurry that you don't chat up someone that looks like a wal mart greeter or possibly a medicine man.
