How easy is this course set-up? I've got to turn this on.

Jake Knapp is -11 thru 15. Berger & Henley 8 under, Ryder 7 under. Svensson 7 under thru 10.

You'd think these guys are playing a local muni course with these scores.

I am holding T10 tickets on Berger and Straka. One looking better than the other so far.

61 is the course record. Knapp just might break it.

This course used to be one of the tougher stops on tour. I know they made some changes recently but didn't think they made it that easy.

Knapp could've pretty realistically shot 57. I didn't start watching until his tee shot on 17, but he lipped out an 8 footer for birdie and then had an 18 footer for eagle on 18.

I played that course maybe 12 times during my junior golf days, practice rounds and all. There is nothing easy about it for even scratch golfers. All 12 or so times I played it, the wind was pumping… Yesterday AM there was zero wind. Amazing what the pros can do on even a course that penal when there is no wind and the greens are receptive.

The setup is now run by the PGAT championship committee who has made it way easier. They overseeded the course and cut the rough short. Absolutely no wind as you mentioned helps. Last year was their first year in charge and the winning score was -17 i think. Before that the best was like -12 by a couple of guys and usually single digits. When Sunjae Im won he shot -6. It's lost the teeth it once had.

Gotcha. And I know they used to call #6 a par 4 for the tournament, but it's a short par 5 now like it is for regular play.
