I already have a decent list for others, but what is the best thing to get?

Don't say a Gnome.

Master flag? polo's, hats, blankets?

My favorite pieces of merch that I use often are the coffee mug, rocks glasses, and cotton tech hoodie (t-shirt hoodie).

I agree. I think the polo/sweater's are overplayed when people wear them all the time. Not to mention they wont last forever.

Glasses, ornaments, flag, etc. Things that will last and can be used/seen daily.

Drinkware, specifically the Tervis and Corkcicle items and coffee mugs. I also like the Masters hoodies and t-shirts. The koozies with magnets are good to have.

Apparel: Get a vest! Polos and a cap are a given. I also got multiple t-shirts just to wear around the house.

Household Items: Drink ware. I use my coffee mug, bourbon glasses (if you're into that), and even the plastic beer cups often. Decorative items for your man cave or office.

I have watches from 2016 and 2018. There are only 750 made and they are nice. They've made for a nice conversation piece a few times. Not crazy expensive either, I think around $495. Would recommend.

literally the only thing I still use from the masters.

edit to say that until very recently I had used the masters dopp kit bag for many years and wish I had a spare as it finally fell apart.

check out some of the posters they sell. I bought one in 2017 and put it in a nice frame in my office. Behind the frame you can't even tell it's a poster.

There's a local artist that sells prints in the merchandise tent. The year I went she was there and signed the 4 prints that I bought. I'll have to check on her name..

My best merch is a pine cone from Amen Corner.

As for the stuff I paid for, in order of most favored:

1. Sleeve of commemorative Masters 2024 Golf Balls
2. Pin flag (it's hanging on my office door this week in honor of Masters week)
3. Coffee Mug
4. Tervis-like tumbler
5. Jacket
6. Drawstring knapsack
7. T-shirts
8. Polos
9. Commemorative ball markers
10. Golf towel
11. Caps

And of course, my stack of green and gray cups from the beverages I purchased.

I have to go with hats, lapel pin as well as the pin flag.

But oh the things I would do to get my hands on another sandwich T-shirt.

I don't know. I turned down offers for masters gear until I was able to go myself. I'm kinda on board with it, if for no other reason than you avoid the inevitable questions about when you went and then you have to say you haven't been and just bought it online/had a buddy bring it back for you. But I get others may disagree.

"Stolen Valor" is a dumb phrase for it but certainly I've seen ppl and asked when they went and when they say they didn't there's always a little disappointment. So I would say def helps avoid a little awkward moment.

We were in the first group in the shop on Tuesday. I got out and turned to my buddy and said "boy that escalated quickly." I spent way more than I should have, but who knows when I'll get to go back. I shipped it all and can't wait for my package to arrive on Monday.

As for merch, I bought mostly clothing.

It's easy to do.

Forbes reported a couple years ago that they make roughly $70 million from merch. Since it's only open 7 days a year for approximately 10 hours a day, that's $1 million an hour. Not too shabby.

The Forbes article was before ANWA. I'm guessing you can tack on another $5-10 million from it.

I've got a Masters 2012 hat from when my grandfather went, and I love wearing it during masters week, but yeah I definitely hate having to say: No… I've never been but I've lost the lottery for 10+years. "
