My biggest miss is leaving the face open, especially with longer irons. Any tips, drills, videos, thoughts, etc. that have stuck for y'all to try and correct the problem? Thanks in advance.

Not to derail but I can only hit my irons with the ball in the back of my stance- complete opposite of driver (hitting down and compressing it). I know I am likely losing distance. Can anyone venture to guess what I might be doing wrong?
This helped me out a lot too, especially in my takeaway. Also, as mentioned above, grips were a big factor for me. For some reason I had a weak grip and could feel the club slipping occasionally in my hands. Changed to some mid-size GP MCC+4's and they have done wonders for my game. I think it was a combo of bigger tackier grips and keeping my gloves fresh.AustinCountyAg said:
I struggle with this also. Earlier this year I began forward pressing the hands before starting the backswing. It has helped a ton with me not missing left (left hander). The only down side I've struggled with after starting this is it is tougher for me to hit a fade. That used to be my go to shot. However, ball striking and much better contact has resulted so I will take it.
