I've had the same pair of golf shoes for a few years now. An old pair of Adidas, spikeless, super comfortable, and they've held up pretty well.

I've been putting off replacing them because they've honestly been solid, but I know there are a ton of new models out now, and I'd rather hear from people who actually play than scroll endless reviews online.

Any recs?

Ideally looking for:
Spikeless or hybrid sole
Waterproof
Comfortable enough to walk 18

I bought these late last year and I'm a huge fan (yes even of the colorway)

Which model do you have? I was looking at these earlier. Golf spy had them highly rated.

These. Probably my favorite pair to walk in. The support and bounce kinda reminds me of my brooks running shoes.

Always liked the black shoe look... here's my current shoe of choice.

I quit buying golf shoes and just wear comfortable trail running shoes. The grip on the bottom is very similar to spikeless golf shoes. So I don't have to worry about changing shoes or whether or not I loaded them with my golf bag. They work great.

If you want spikeless I highly recommend Ecco biom hybrid's. I've had multiple models for probably close to ten years. Loved them all.

In fact I just got a new pair of the biom 4's for cheap since the new 5's just came out.

True linkswear is also another good option. Not quite as comfortable as the Ecco's though imo.

Payntr. Have never owned more comfortable golf shoes. Never slip. Walk 36 every week

I bounce between these two right now, but they have many combinations of colors and styles in both spiked and spikeless

If you want black, these are pretty clean

How are Payntr sized compared to, say, Nike?

IMO, pretty true to size but maybe a touch small.

I'd say they're a half size small. Fantastic comfort and traction.

Not if you have wide feet.

One watch-out on Payntr's if you are an early morning tee time dew-sweeper like me, there are certain models that are technically waterproof everywhere but have a mesh tongue. That can be a weak spot for water if you are marching thru the wet rough and get them really soaked. So best to stick with models that have a solid tongue. That said, if you aren't a super heavy waterproof testing type, the mesh tongue is nice, comfortable, and breathable. So just depends on your use case

On the models I posted above, the 2 I wear right now have a solid tongue, but if you look closely on the black pair, that one is mesh. Just so you know what you're looking for.

Maybe the Jordan golf shoes are different than the regular sneakers.

Can't seem to get away from the Adidas Codechaos. Comfortable, waterproof, last longer, good grip. Can't complain

I have Footjoy FJ fuel and Pro S/L, the pro s/l are several generations ago, just got the FJ Fuel both are spikeless and I walk almost every round. The Fuel is more comfortable and lighter, both are waterproof. The Footjoys have lasted longer than any other brands I've had over the years.

Just got some Ecco Bioms for my birthday and can't wait to get them in the course.

Other than those, I wear a combo of Jordan 1 low/ Jordan 4/Jordan 5/ older Jordan trainers/ G4 MG4 and Gallivanter.

When I'm walking the old Jordan trainers and most comfortable ATM but the Ecco's are going to be default for walking now. if I'm playing a nicer course then my default is the gallivanter or the Jordan 4/5

I wear my Brooks running shoes because they have plenty of grip and are super comfortable.

The only exception is if it is raining or heavy dew in which case the Brooks get soaked along with my feet in which case I wear some old Nike golf shoes.

seriously!

I bought 2 pairs of these, first pair just out of curiosity and 2nd to keep in my truck because I flat out love them!

Comfy as heck and so far good shoes. Maybe 5-10 rounds on each pair, so I don't know about the long term durability yet, but so far so good

Man I might have to give these a try. If looking like a dad on vacation is wrong, I don't want to be right. I'll be the one not getting the spins trying to tighten the laces up when I'm stocking up on a few more cold ones at the turn.

Man. You get to a certain age and your priorities change. I couldn't care less about how I look, I do however love comfy kicks.

Bought a pair of Ecco S-three right before a trip to Scotland. Walked 6 rounds in 6 days.....they were perfect. Also had a pair of Ecco's that were 4 yrs old and one shoe had a sole that was coming apart. I sent them a note with a photo and they send me a $100 certificate for the next pair.

I'm guessing you would endorse grabbing these for just $49 then? Ugly colorway, but seems like a steal
