Heading out there later this summer and have a buddy who can get us on to either course. Just seeing if anyone here has any insights. My initial thought would be to play the Tiger course, but seems like some mixed reviews online.

Anyone played the Diamante Cabo courses?

Played the tiger course a few years back… two thumbs up. Nice track, new rentals and nice 19th hole. Little windy that day but I think that's common on that side of Cabo.
Played the Dunes course there a couple of years ago. Incredible golf experience. It was in great condition and incredible scenery. Use a caddy. Caddy saved me a bunch of shots that day. Great hospitality stops after every third hole with great food and drink. Going back next month.
DL3 designed Dunes and Tiger did El Cardinal. Having played 2 DL3 courses, and just knowing Tiger's design style I would probably vote for Tiger's course if it were me. He goes with more width and "resorty" style that is probably going to be easier/more fun.

Brian Watts (1998 Open Championship runner up) teaches there and is Director of Golf. Met him last time I was there. Lives in Southlake IIRC.
Amazing courses and views. Wind made it almost unplayable.
The next course I play in Cabo that I DON'T like will be the first. Great place for golf.
I've played several courses in Cabo but not these. Fortunately, the comfort stations make me forget about how I'm playing.
We go a couple times a year. Dunes is a better design and more fun to me. El Cardinal seems to be in better shape right now.
