Just read this article, and I guess I can see both sides, but personally, I'm giving Maltbie a pass. The guy was doing his job, and according to him, his producers told him to be ready to give an update on what was going on. So, he didn't go into the area where Harringtons ball was being looked for, and Paddy took exception to the fact that Malbie didn't help. No one but the player and his caddy are required to help look for a lost ball. Is that bad "etiquette"? Mayne so, but Maltbie was very diplomatic, and asked Paddy if he would disobey his employer, but Paddy was having none of it.
I must say, Paddy has lost some of my respect.
