I got the ghost gt-14 cart bag recently and was impressed with their stand bag, but it's definitely a premium price tag.

Of course the hoofer 14 is a solid choice.

Wasn't impressed with Ogio this year, but some people like their offerings.

I got a jones and love it. It's a great carry bag and it helps me only carry what I actually need instead of carrying my whole house with me.

Hoofer is always a great choice. New titleist is good as well.
Be careful with vessel or stitch. Great looking bags but cart strap makes an ugly mark on both.

Doesn't seem to happen with hoofer since it's canvas.

Just my 2 cents. Ping customer service is also very good.

Just got a vessel player v in the dxr material. Like it so far.

Bought a Jones bag in 2023 in grey and carried it through 23 and 24 seasons. By the end of 24 it was really dirty, with no good way to clean the cloth.

Jumped up to a Vessel Lux stand bag this year and just wipe off any dirt or marks. We will see how it holds up.

I have the Ghost Golf Anyday Maverick black ops linked above and love it, too. You can get the neoprene golf cart strap covers (also from Ghost) to minimize marking up your new bag. Simple solution.

am I correct in seeing some of the bags recommended go for $400???

dang!! for that price I know a few brands one could buy multiple bags that would last many, many years....let alone buy one bag and have it last a long time and pocket the difference

spends $1800 on clubs that can be matched for $700, complains about $415 on a bag that can be matched for $250. The typical golfer in a nutshell.

I picked up a Jones Rover, excellent lightweight carry bag, great for walking 9 holes after work.

Ping Hoofer Lite is also good, so is Titleist Stand 4.

yes I can....pretty sure if not everyone then certainly the vast majority on this board would agree that this looks good.....and I can promise you it was south of $200!!!
and to throw in a topic related, small humble brag that others could likely claim as well.....the caddie that carried it last week at Scioto commented that it was nice and light. Even tOSU fans said it looked good too!!

That does not look good in my opinion.

I simply don't understand people on the course that look like a billboard for their sports teams/college affiliation.

And this is coming from a 5th generation Aggie, who made the 12th Man Fire Co tailgating fire truck. I love my school.

This is my idea of a good looking bag (mine), to each their own. (I need to clean the cart strap marks)
