Customer trip next month to St. Andrews. Have golf booked at the top courses. Staying in St. Andrews. Never been there before, any must visit bars & restaurants or advice for a 1st timer?

Dunvegan for sure. Sheena was there a few weeks ago. Jigger Inn for a pint as well. Tailend for fish n chips and Forgan's for a nice customer dinner. Get reservations for Forgan's.

After the Dunvegan, hit up one of the Pubs in town - The Central, Criterion, Whey Pat, The Keys, Rules, etc etc.

Check and see if The Steak Barn is open at Balgove Larder. Steak Barn

Forgen's is a good place as well.

Check out the town, university, cathedral ruins, and the old pier. Go find Old and Young Tom Morris graves in the cemetery by the Cathedral.

My daughter when to "Uni" there - it's a special place.

Mozza is good.

18 at the Rusak is great for the views.

Plan to spend some time pub crawling in Edinburgh either on your arrival or departure day.

We spent about 5 hours in Edinburgh when we landed before driving to St. Andrews. Could have easily spent a couple of days there. Cool town.

***Edited to change Aberdeen to Edinburgh. Got confused. Edinburgh is where you are probably flying into and it's a great time

I really want to retire to that area. Goal is the $1M pound buy-in GB requires. Just couldn't love it more. And I lived in Seattle so ain't scerred of the weather.
