So I love this game and I love this section of TexAgs and I wanted to just throw out a topic of discussion that may effect other folks, or it may not apply to you at all so you just get to see what I think are some of the best looking irons in the game right now.

So backstory, I have liked golf my whole life, but never really had time to play more than once a year. Got introduced by living on southside my freshman year and walking over to the A&M campus golf course and learning how to hit a golf ball. In 2023 I finally had time to play and decided to take up the game with some more seriousness and well got addicted. Started playing, living in Colorado I couldn't play in the winter so built a golf simulator in my basement, got fitted for clubs while my swing was just starting out but needed to replace 30 year old clubs, have taken lessons and probably played 200 outdoor rounds and 1000 indoor rounds since.

By this year my swing is what it is and I realized I have real trouble scoring because I couldn't keep anything on a green. My 7 iron swing speed is ~90 mph and at my altitude I was launching the ball 195-200 yards carry with a peak height of 25-40' and a decent angle under 20*. Just terrible, and with all the adjustments to my swing I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the ball up. Welp, insert my irons, super game improvement Ping G430's with super strong lofts that were great for me in 2023 when I was just getting started, but now were launching piss missiles.

Goal, get the ball up in the air, have plenty of swing speed and distance, so if I shorten my clubs 15 yards a piece I didn't care, just create height, spin and descent angle. Go to get fitted, and in comes the new club that is meant for the lower swing speed individuals, the Titleist T250*.

After fitting, hitting the new T250* 7 iron to a 175-180 carry, 70-75' height and 45* descent angle. They were delivered yesterday and I immediately hopped on the range. Super stoked to get out and play with them today, but upon delivery I realized something else, these things are just phenomenal looking. Wanted to share pics!

Beautiful irons, enjoy them.

It seems that Titleist and Callaway have figured out what Taylormade and Mizuno already knew; forgiving irons don't have to look ugly and chunky.

I hit these a few weeks back and they feel great too. Almost clicky but man they make great contact. If my set wasn't only year and half old, I would get these for sure.
