I just played Tierra del Sol in July. It was recently redone, course is a lot of fun. Aruba is always windy and the course is no exception - I hit driver/3 wood into the wind on a 420 yd par 5 and still came up short. The driving range is into the wind, you can get a feel for what you're up against before the round. There are blind shots, unique holes that make you think about your shot before you swing, and it was in good condition when I played. Opportunity to hit all of your clubs, would recommend to club down on some of the tee shots.
I think it's worth it. Only real complaint is that they use gray water to water the course, so you need to close your mouth in a few spots and don't hit out of soggy ground if you play early.
