This was my friend and I's 2nd Fried Egg event we've done and just want to encourage it for anyone. We went into Boston on Saturday, played Worcester Country Club on Sunday, then 36 at Essex County on Monday. The access that groups like Fried Egg or Golfers Journal/Broken Tee Society get is really incredible. If you have any interest in getting to see often very private courses and getting to spend a day with a bunch of golf nuts that love the game you ought to book one.
Worcester was the host of the first Ryder Cup in 1927 and has some awesome history, including the original lockers still in use by their members. Course was fun, challenging, but definitely re-playable.

Essex County: while both courses are Donald Ross, these definitely have much more turtlebacked greens. Course is definitely harder and has wild land movement. The back 9 works around a giant rock outcropping. Conditions at both were immaculate with maybe the fastest greens I've ever played.
