I have a football game next Friday at magnolia. HMR isn't available. anyone else have opinions and feedback on conditions in that area?

Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

Been a hot minute, but here are a couple of options within a 30 minute drive

*cheap, byob, decent course, no range/club house -grand lake golf club
*mid-tier, generally in good shape - Augusta Pines or Gleannloch Golf club
*really nice semi-private course, fun layout, #34 Texas golf club - Highland Pines

I've never played or tried to get on Tomball Country Club. But I've wondered what its like in the past. It's in that general direction.

it's in good shape. They are putting a lot of money into it after splitting off from AP and HP

Played 2 months ago. Was in good shape.

Also played 2 months ago. Fairways and greens were exceptional. Half of the bunkers were totally unplayable; hopefully that's improved.
