Beat my best round of -3 Stayed the same. No
Increase GIR from 10.9 to 13 No
Decrease putts per round from 32.6 to 31 No
Increase scrambling from bunkers Yes

2026 Goals
Beat my best round of -3 from the whites and -2 from the reds
Whites - goal is to shoot 68 or better
Reds - goal is to shoot 66 or better - This one will happen with better discipline and course management.
Decrease putts from 31.9 to 30
Increase GIR from 9.3 to 12
Get back to a +handicap. Currently trending up 4.5. Having joined Oakmont Country Club in Corinth I should be able to put the work in.

So I have a record of this . . .

Drop HC by 4 strokes
Increase GIR's to 50%
Limit doubles to 1 or less per round

Enjoy my new takomos
Play at least twice a month
Avoid blowups

Break 80 for real for real
Drop to single digit handicap
Go to the course weekly-ish with the wife and kids

Where is handicap today?

2025 went from 14.7 to 10.3

2026 goal is to get to 7.5

1) To see if I can play 18 holes without back/shoulder pain.
2) play enough to dial my club distances in again
3) get to a point where I feel like I can shoot in the mid 80's again
4) play the proper tees (whites) regardless of what other guys are playing

1) only bring wedges and putter to driving range.

Number one goal is to get to single digit handicap, currently 10.2. That means I will have to hit other goals like more GIR and at least 5 fewer putts per round, which are also goals.

Drop handicap to single digits by EOY. Currently 17.2 but just went through a complete swing overhaul.
