How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone have one and do you know where you might be able to demo one. I have heard through different forums that it may have trouble picking up higher swing speeds. Just wanted to try one out with my driver to see if it could be a good portable option on the range and a few drives on the course.

Into a net?

I've read that some units used outdoors need to see the ball for a longer distance than a net is usually set at. Any issues?

This Rapsodo is on my short list for upcoming purchases.

Thank you for your help, how does the club path and spin data compare to what your seeing at the range?
Have you had a chance to compare it to other high-end products?

Range is hit or miss and thats mainly because the balls are typically so bad.

I dont have access to a GCQuad or Trackman but I know there are multiple videos on youtube comparing them. For the money I get everything I want out of this unit. It does a really good job and I feel its pretty dang accurate. Like most of us I know where the ball is going almost immediately and the unit reflects that too

Suits my needs. My kids also love it

Great to hear, I really need the video aspects and capabilities to review my swings and being able to add an extra camera from the side is big.
Does it only work with IPAD and iPhones or can you use Android or a laptop?

We've had ours for a little over a year now. I'm not going to say it doesn't have misreads or some issues here and there. It does. For example not being able to have multiple profiles on the same account is just dumb.

But it's still the best value we could find and has been a great tool for my daughter to practice in a DYI sim in the garage. I worked with their customer service to dial the algorithm in to her numbers. And they've been accurate for her since. It means my numbers aren't real accurate for longer irons and woods, but if you are the main user it shouldn't matter.

It's not high end. It isn't life like / virtual reality graphics, but it also is great at what it is and doesn't require a dedicated pc. My 11 year old can walk out, set it up (we park a car there when not in use) and be hitting shots in less than 10 minutes using her existing tablet.

And while people bash the non-life like graphics, it is still on par with current video games graphics that mimic the course layouts. She's been able to practice playing up coming tournaments courses just fine.

Any android or Apple device has worked for us. You're downloading their app and running it through there. My Samsung S23 ultra can handle the higher graphics settings just fine. My daughter's low cost tablet is limited to low graphic settings.

any reason why MLM2 Pro over flightscope mevo gen 2?

Seems the subscription fee for MLM doesn't make sense for when both units are very similar. The mevo2 has a high $ pro package but that's optional.

Opposite take for me on subscription fees. It takes 3-5 years of mlm2pro subscriptions to get to the same up front cost of the mevo.

Considering it's an intro / value launch monitor category, I figured it was slim to none chance we hadn't either upgraded by then or a better product in that category didn't exist before the break even. And I don't like throwing away money and feeling like I have to use outdated products in 4 years because of sunk costs.

that's a good take. Come to think of it, my friends who got the mevo don't nearly use it as much as they thought they would. In a few years, they'd probably upgrade or abandon it anyway.

I also use the MLM2 Pro outside into a net. I use it with an Ipad and the ease of use/setup is exceptional.

I previously had the OG Skytrak which I loved but too many non reads when using it outside. I have had zero issue with the MLM2 Pro in that regard. As Mr. Bond said, highly recommend using the RCT Balls and from my experience they hold up WAY better than I was expecting. I just make sure my net is hanging pretty loose to absorb the impact of the balls. I have been rotating 3 balls and each have hundreds of shots on them and still have plenty of life left.
