In addition to the Florida tournament the Aggies have four players teeing off at the Texas Golf Throwdown in Huntsville, Texas. The tournament takes place Feb. 16-17 at the Woodlands Country Club.

Fernandez Garca-Poggio, Mia Nixon, Kynadie Adams and Avery Zweig will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Tee times and live stats for the event can be found at:

The Aggies not playing in the Florida tournament are in 9th place with a +41 score after two rounds (+23/+18). Iowa state leads with a -1 followed by Nebraska's +21. The individual lead is held by an Iowa State player at -4. Individual Aggie scores after two rounds are:

+6 - Cayetana (JR)
+10 - Avery (FR)
+11 - Mia (R-JR)
+14 - Kynadie (SR)

Everyone tees of on Tuesday at 9:00 CST for the final round.

The team, the players who did not play in Florida, did not have a good tournament and finished in 9th place at +62. Individually, Cayetana finished at +6, tied for 11th.

I do not know what the conditions were like during the tournament but all of the scores were bad except for Iowa State who finished with a -2. Nebraska finished in 2nd with a +37 score - wow!

Iowa State was the only team with a sub par round - they had two of them. They had the top two individual scores with -6 and a -3 to take home the team title and the individual title.
