This year's annual golf trip with the guys will be at Shangri-La in about a month. We're doing 36 at the resort (Heritage 9 / Legends 9 then Champions 9 / Heritage 9 again) and then the next day we're playing the Battlefield (18hole Par 3) and finishing with 18 at Patricia Island.

Typically, the losing team of our Ryder Cup style tournament buys the winners dinner and drinks on Saturday night before heading home Sunday. Looking for any recommendations for dinner in the area. We are staying at an Air BNB on the island, but we did book rooms at the resort for Friday night to be able to lock down tee times in advance, so I imagine any resort restaurants will be available to us.

Also, if anybody has been there before or is going this month, I'd be curious about your experience.

Took the family there a few years back, my son and I played golf and we loved it! Just wish I would have brought the boat with me or at least some fishing rods. Found a place next to the waters edge, peaceful. Nice to walk out your condo and straight onto the course. They have some very undulated greens which were fun. Not a lot of golf pressure so we often would have a competition closest to the hole chip off over a bunker and down the slope on some of those tough green complexes. Will definitely be going back someday!

I started the linked thread back in January. Loved it.

Went back last week after meetings in Tulsa with a couple of work buddies, and we had a great time again. Played the par 3 on Thursday afternoon and 27 on Friday. I'd love to play it once it greens up, it's still dormant right now.

Can't recommend it enough. Dinner at The Summit (steakhouse at the clubhouse) wasn't as good this time, but it was still above average. Y'all will have a great time!

We are taking a group 28 guys the last weekend of March. The group went last year and had a blast. Two 14 man teams with 2v2 matchups on Saturday and Sunday. Most of us are playing the Par 3 on Friday afternoon.
