Just realized we are ranked 30th in the country, which is 11th in the sec. Gymnastics is on all the time. Why not golf?

TV/Streaming Schedule:
Stroke play (WedFri, April 2224): No traditional linear TV coverage mentioned. Live scoring and updates are typically available via the SEC site or apps, but not broadcast on TV.
Semifinals (Saturday, April 25): Airs on SEC Network+ (streaming), starting around noon CT. Specific match times may vary slightly based on the bracket.
Finals (Sunday, April 26): Televised live on SEC Network, starting at 7 a.m. CT. This is the main broadcast portion (final match play round).

I always like to watch scores to see if we can get a feel for which side is playing easier...maybe too soon to tell on that front still.

All the teams "ranked" below us, who are all ahead of us are playing back 9 first.

How many teams advance - 8? We're 9th right now.

Golf is an extremely expensive sport to cover well due to the number of cameras. You can cover gymnastics with 2 commentators and 3-4 cameras if it's a 2-team meet.

Golf you can't because there are 18 holes and typically multiple cameras per hole (or you only pick a few holes to cover or only have a camera on the greens and still only cover a few holes).

Had a great front 9 (-7) to put us 3 shots above the cut tied 7th.

Now need to take advantage of the back nine like we did yesterday to put us back into contention.

And not making hay so far on the back 9.

And just like that an Eagle appears!

Hay going in the barn now!

And a double appears.

Need to stay away from tu and AU in first round of match play.

Pounds really made a mess of a gettable back 9.

Otherwise a really great day for the Ags.

Actually last three guys bogeyed, bogeyed and double bogeyed. If anyone of them would have parred it would have saved us a stroke. If Kusvass would have parred or bogeyed, we would have used his score and saved a stroke or two.

Really good day 2 in general. I have no idea how ncaa selection happens but I'd think making match play from #30 would get us in?

First guy off this morning kuvass doubled 18 … if he had parred, he would not have been a counting score.

Our last three ( all counting scores) went par, bogey and bogey … cost us two strokes.

Cost Shiv a tie for second for individual scoring.

18 is playing as the second hardest hole on the course.

If Kuvass would have parred 18, he would have shot a 69. I thought the lowest 4 scores for the day counted, is this not correct?

Sorry … you had it right. I may have been looking at total score. He was the first guy off today and he did double 18 to finish one over for the day. He would have been a counting score.

Shiv will get it done, he's just a freshman. I've been watching him and his brother play with my son since they were 6 years old. Just wait till his brother, Aadi gets there, he's better than Shiv.

We're fortunate to get into match play with our play on the back nine today. Gotta clean it up for match play tomorrow.

Tough day for Shiv but they did enough and avoid Auburn and tu. Florida had a day to move into second. I think we will play Ole Miss.

I'm not easily impressed, but IF Jackson Koivun was on a team by himself, he'd be in 5th at -19.

Kid has been really good for Auburn for a long time. I think he'll do well on tour.
