Anyone recommend any durable regulation size flagsticks (and flags)? I have been working on a target green at the back of my 2 acres and need to put the final touch on.

I do not need an actual cup since I am not maintaining this as a putting green, but more for short approach shots. A convenient staking system would be preferred.

Have you thought about just using a piece of pvc pipe? It would be a lot less expensive and do the job, since you don't need a cup.

Not a bad idea but I'd prefer something more "official" since I have spent much time and effort getting this area up and running.

maybe ask a golf course if they have any broken/old ones laying around?

Without an actual cup your friends can't make a hole in one which you can then force them to buy you a case of beer for the occasion. .

be prepared for having them broken and the flags ripped to shreds. I can't tell you how many flags we've replaced and cups we've had to reset from animals loving to get after them on our putting green.
