Need a 40-watt equivalent to this old school fixture for a toilet closet/water closet.



Have found a lot of recessed/flush mount lights but the lumens are ridiculous

I've done that elsewhere, would love to not have a dimmer switch in a room that small where I won't actually touch the dimmer once I set it!

To be clear, I want to replace the globe light with something more low-profile and modern and all I seem to be able to find are 3000k flush mount LED disk-style fixtures with 800+ lumens.

I don't have good luck with the fixtures with the built in led. You are supposed to get like 12 years out of them, well, that is bullcrap. They crap out about as quickly as an old incandescent bulb and then you have to replace the whole dang fixture. I will only buy the ones that take replacement regular bulbs.

Fair, it's not the LED but the ballast that is normally garbage.
