Anyone familiar with these systems? My parents bought a house that supposedly has a new system and I don't know what it does. There is no drain to flush what it "filters" out and no cartridges to replace.

The company website is completely sales oriented and wants your email before it tells you anything. I'd sure like to know if this system is worth the real estate it takes up in the garage

Looks like the tops screw off
Probably some type of medium inside that gets changed out

I can't find any real info on it other than some reddit posts with pretty mixed reviews. Yours might just be a big pile of of carbon pellets inside. They may have a longer service life and require a technician to replenish if needed later. No way to know without some info. It's not a back flushing system based on the pics. It does not appear to be a sediment filter. I'm going to say it's a dechlorinator.

A quick Google search with the correct Model # and you can download the operating manual. That's where I would start.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.
