I have used the build-house version & pro upgrade, which makes designs fast & foolproof. Maybe not suited for commercial & skyscraper work.
Both come with an extensive, searchable plant database that will take up some noteable hard disk space.
Point, click, place, view in 3D ...
There's an upgrade pro version if you use it alot but less affordable
My land.arch son uses something superior neither one of can afford
Caveat:
If you lack a horticulture degree like me, then once you make your design pretty then take it to someone with one to learn what will grow, die, caretaking and substitues similar to avoid wasted money/time failures. A soil & tap water analysis report would enhance this outcome.
Gotta draw since me got no grammar MasterArch '76
