Black hose leading into ac unit in attic is leaking air at connection

It's enough to feel it when I stand next to it. Looks like there was foil tape around connection point that is falling off. Should I seal the connection point with foil tape and any seems of the unit near by or let it be ?

That's cooled air leaking into your attic and not cooling your house. You can leave it, but your AC is going to run longer to cool your house.

Use some duct tape, that's what it was created for.
