How much should it cost per door and frame to re-roll fresh coat of paint? Did all the baseboards myself but want to hand the baton to someone else for the doors.

I agree. If you can do the baseboards by yourself, the doors should be easy.

Dubi is correct. Just pop the pins, remove the hardware, and paint outside. Maybe consider getting a cheap sprayer from harbor freight to help out and speed it up

If I don't go sprayer route, what's the best brush to get to avoid paint brush streaks? I will tackle this a few doors at a time during rare down time…

maybe add Floetrol to the paint to reduce streaks?

We just had all of ours painted. Painter quoted $45 for each door and trim for oil based paint and $90 each for non-oil based paint (higher b/c the extra prep).

I've been painting interior doors lately, takes about 30-45 minutes to do a coat on two doors that's cleanup and everything. I've been putting 3 coats with foam rollers, need to do baseboards and door trim but really not looking forward to that. Sanding old patchy paint in some areas and wood puddy imperfections.

Just using the cheap 6 panel hollow core doors. A nicer door without all the panels would paint faster.

Started painting myself. Got through 6 in 2 days. Whoa headache from the fumes.
