Replaced a bathroom faucet and now the u pipe has a slow leak. I made sure it was twisted tight but after a few hours it has a little bit of water on it.

Suggestions for fix it?

It looks like you have an inch and a quarter tailpiece coming out of the sink and going into an inch and a half p trap. They do make gaskets that will allow inch and a quarter to go into inch and a half but you have to make sure you have the right one in there.

The connection straight down from the sink has an o ring. It's not leaking from there. It's leaking on the connection that goes up to the horizontal piece. I don't think there was an o ring there before. So I should try to get one for it? The videos I have watched doesn't show one there

Assuming that nut where the leak is located isn't cracked, my guess is that your p-trap is misaligned at the junction that is leaking. That junction needs to be nearly perfectly aligned in order to be water tight (as it has no gasket). To correct the problem, first loosen all three nuts in your photo so that they have some ability to wiggle. Then tighten/align the joint that is currently leaking first...maybe 1/8 turn passed hand-tight, if needed. Once that joint looks good, then tighten the other two nuts. Those have gaskets, so they don't need perfect alignment like the middle one.

I'll second this..
It looks like the horizontal piece is a bit off-kilter and sitting at an angle.

Get it aligned just right by rotating the trap alignment to meet it before tightening the vertical.

Also, can't hurt to wrap some thread tape on the connections.

No washer in the p trap portion bit there is one where it meets the trap adapter at the wall

Loosen the wall connection so you can make the p trap perfect. Then tighten the wall connection.

That's my trick after dealing with what your dealing with in the past.
