Does anyone know what ever happened to these guys? I used to listen to them quite a bit on WOAI. I always thought their show was entertaining whether it be politics or sports, and it didn't hurt that they are both Ags.

I've often wondered the same thing.

Looks like they left in August of 07. One of the brothers seems to be a lawyer in San Antonio now.

Thanks for the info! When I was searching Google initially I did see the link for the law firm website, but I never did click on it thinking it was a spam site and the date on it was old.

I didn't see the stuff about the voices for video games. Thats pretty cool, but doesn't seem very stable. Hope it works out though.

I remember in '06 they invented a city political campaign to see how many people would believe them: Downtown Originality Restoration Committee (DORC).

The were on ESPN 1250 for a while. I think they lasted from spring of 2008 until 2009(?).

Per my sources Burns was let go because he was sucking at doing the necessary paperwork for the sales side of his job.

That said, Mookie's version is funny.

AgDev01 is correct ... one brother is a partner in a law office here in town. The other brother, I believe, is holding out for another radio gig but now living in SA again.

Burns is rumored to be back on-air soon, but no official news yet.

Disclaimer: I used to work at CCR w/ all of 'em.

One of them is a local attorney and the other married April Ancira and is managing one of the Ancira family dealerships and can be seen on the commercials (I think it's VW)

Buddy Burns is now a host on the SEC Network, and got all kinds of play on Texags a couple days ago for cutting off Ketch trying to downplay the Ags.
