Boudros or paesanos are good options. Mid level prices.

Biga on the Banks

I was a valet downtown for a couple summers after high school. From what I remember I'm not sure there is good food on the River Walk.

CasaRio was the classic I would recommend for the money. Paesanos and Biga on the Banks are more expensive but probably better date options. I never went though as I was a poor valet.

Try rainforest cafe. Good pricing, and a fun atmosphere.

We really like Acenar - kind of funky Mexican food.

Osteria Il Sogno at the Pearl on the upper reach of the Riverwalk. I'd stay away from most everything in the heart of the riverwalk if you want real quality.

Like Feast a lot also. Small place, great food.

Rosario's. 5 minute walk from the river
