she goes to thai taste on evers.. but its changed hands and the food isn't quite as good...

but their heat scale is 1-10.. i can barely do a 9.. but she gets hers specialy made at a 65.

I've been to yaya's at 10 and Callahan. I liked it. Good reviews. The green curry noodles were quite tasty

My go-to, Thai-Lao Orchid, moved just outside downtown some years back. They had my favorite Pad Thai.

Tongs Thai is pretty good. No, they don't have waitresses serving you wearing thongs , at least they're not visible.

I like Sarika's, and I would have guessed that Thai Taste might be the answer, but a previous post seems to say otherwise. I haven't tried it yet, but Thai Dee comes very highly recommended from people in my office.

thai topaz on huebner in med center is my favorite.

the chicken pad thai is the freaking BOMB.

they rate the spice 1 - 5. i usually get a 3 and it has some pretty good kick to it.

Good info for me.... my side of town. I have tried quite a few Thai places and like most of them. I met the lady that owned that restaurant before this current owner. She was so happy to be rid of it. She was of Thai descent and apparently was unhappy with the quality of life due to the time drain of being a restaurant owner.

I will definitely try it now. I do like Asia Kitchen on Loop 410 near Marbach.

Third for Thai House on Rittiman.

Rwcently tried out the Shuck Shack near the Pear...can't remember the street though. The Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder were solid.

"Thai Restaurant" on Callaghan and Babcock, probably the best pad thai I've had in San Antonio...Thai Pikul is also good in that area, on Fredericksburg. Both in the medical center/USAA area..

Thai Lao Orchid in Leon Springs is my go to for Thai food. They have very good sushi, as well.

Tong's Thai is my favorite. I have been eating there since I was a kid.

Thai Dee is great, but when I don't feel like going that far in I go to Saeb Thai. It's not that different and in a much less sketchy area.
