Who do you use for your cable and internet? We have been using AT&T, but the internet continually cuts out. Looking to transfer to a new provider. Any help is appreciated.

We're still with AT&T.
Had them out yesterday because everything would go out for few minutes just about every day - internet out, TV freeze. They replaced the modem. We'll see if that really was the problem.

Dish and TWC for Internet. Expensive (Dish), but I enjoy it so much more than TWC's cable, which I had.

I used to have a crap ton of issues with TWC, but ever since Google Fiber has been rumored (now confirmed) to come to town, they have been significantly better.

AT&T for internet. Been pretty satisfied, had to change out the modem once, no interruption issues. Use DirecTV for satellite. I'd rather cold turkey on TV than ever give TWC a penny of my money. No issues with Direct either because the only time there are outtages, it is beautiful rain falling from the sky and I'm out on the front porch watching it.

TWC for both cable and internet. They're overpriced and cable companies are basically the antichrist, but my internet is fast and cable rarely have issues. I never use company-provided modems or routers however.

My Uverse internet also went out temporarily on Wednesday. I'm going to ride it out until Google fiber arrives

Time Warner Cable is offering up to 300Mbps for pretty cheap - I pay for 100 Mbps for $45 per month. i was paying $55 for 24Mbps with Uverse. No problems since making the switch.

My TWC internet is $70 a month for 15 mbps and I can't get them to come down at all. Threatening to cancel and everything.

they demand you get a landline from them. That's their primary business?

We don't need or want a landline.

For years now, AT&T for I-net and Dish for TV. Used to be bundled butt ATT dropped Dish at some point. Been happy with Dish so kept them and pay two bills.

I've been with Dish for 17 years and three houses. Big fan of their TV service. Very rarely experienced brief service outages only during heavy rain or winds. Moved in January and went to their Hopper (with sling). Downloaded the Dish anywhere app on my iPhone. I can connect to my receiver from anywhere and watch any channel or my DVR on iPhone or iPad.

On the other hand, their Internet service is the polar opposite. Lived rural until the move and satellite was my only choice. You pay for a monthly data package and went it is depleted, you revert to dialup speeds. Package is split in half from 0800 - 0200 and 0200 - 0800. Needless to say, we often ran out of the "prime time" data a day or two before it reset. Finally download speeds would slow down during busy part of day because of all the people pinging the satellite. I would say Dish is Internet as the last resort only. Have GVTC and very pleased

TW internet and AT&T TV seems to be the best overall combo. TW internet blows AT&T out of the water.

We pay for the ultimate 100 internet from TW but I get speeds up to 200+mbps in my house at times. It was also the same price as AT&T charges for 12 mbps. Internet that fast isn't really needed for what I do but it just works better than AT&T. As far as TV goes, I preferred AT&T.

Never had satellite so can't really comment one way or the other.
