They are definitely looking Puro San Antonio! What a weird story!!

I believe the John Jay QB, Reynolds, posted on his twitter the night of the game that the ref was making racial comments towards the John Jay team, and he was not the only member of the team that posted about it.

Everyone involved is trash.

I'm sure racists comments are a real possibility. However it doesn't make their actions okay.
I have seen mentions on my friends' FB posts (I'm from B/CS) that College Station HS scrimmaged Jay and Jay broke their (D1 bound) QB's leg with a dirty play a few weeks ago. I hope these people are wrong because that would really compound the mess.

College Station junior quarterback Ty Brock, a college prospect expected to be one of the top passers in the Brazos Valley this year, broke his leg in a scrimmage against Bastrop on Friday morning.

Just to be accurate, the Jay players did not break the CS HS players leg.

Including the ref? Do we know enough for certain to say that?
quote:I have no proof or information that isn't already circulating out there.
What do you know that the rest of us don't?
I'm not saying I doubt you, just looking for some context.

SAN ANTONIO -- Several personal items were stolen from a visiting football team's locker room at John Jay High School Thursday. Five phones, $60 cash and tennis shoes were swiped from the Del Rio locker room on John Jay's campus. "It's just a sad commentary that somebody would do this to a visiting team, because that's not what were all about," said Pascual Gonzalez, NISD Executive Director of Communication. The theft was discovered when the Del Rio team retreated to their assigned locker room after lightning and flash flooding wiped out their game. Our cameras were not allowed in the locker room, but we're told Del Rio used the junior varsity locker room. That locker room is surrounded by a cage that can be padlocked. "I get conflicting reports on whether that padlock was confirmed locked when they walked out or if it was locked and unlocked by someone else," explained Gonzalez. Since it's a dressing room, there are no cameras inside. But there are cameras outside. The video surveillance is part of the ongoing investigation as to who was there at the time of the theft. "There were lots of people that came in and out of that room, whether it was Del Rio players, staff that works at the school, or students that were there late that afternoon," Gonzalez told us. The incident comes less than one week after a controversial hit on a referee by two John Jay varsity players. The timing for the school district couldn't be worse. "If this is somebody's idea of a joke, it's a terrible joke," said Gonzalez. Del Rio's Athletic Director Rick Smith, told us on the phone that it was "No big incident."

is that where P.bubel went?

I played freshman basketball for Lee in '82. When we played at Jay another bus had to be called in to take us back postgame because the air had been let out of our bus tires.
Some things never change.
quote:Yeah. I'm pretty sure my son would have never come up with the idea to attack that ref. Also if the coach told him to do it, he would have said "no coach, that's not right". If the coach said do it or you are off the team, I would think he would hand him his helmet. If he did do it on his own or even if the coach "ordered" him to, he sure as hell would have never left the house to go to NYC to be on television.
And then these two little thugs get flown to NYC to appear on Good Morning America. Sickening.
