Any Aggies have recommends for places to eat in Hondo or Bandera region?

Looking for something with maybe steak or bbq, doesn't really matter. need a good place that has some TVs maybe so as to view the Ole Miss bama game....

We usually go to Mac and Ernies, or OST.

I only know OST, but dang it's good!

11th Street Cowboy Bar - Has steak night every Wednesday.

In Hondo, Herman Son's Steakhouse is always good. And 10 minutes west of Hondo in D'Hanis, Bill & Rosa's Steakhouse is great also.

Hermann Sons in Hondo.

In Bandera, the OST has been there forever. Locals go and it's a good chicken fried steak and Mexican food. Busbees BBQ on Main is good. Very clean and a good atmosphere. The steak night at 11th Street is bring and cook your own. It too has a neat atmosphere and there is a live band.

Go to Arkey's for a beer.

Agree with the two posts above about Herman Son's Steakhouse and Bill & Rosa's. Good food at both and all-you-can-eat shrimp and fish and Bill and Rosa's on Friday nights. Not sure if either has a TV to watch a game but the food at both places is definitely good.

Hermann Sons has a full bar and multiple TV's, none of the others do.

El Jacalito is the best food in Bandera, not tv to watch the game though.

Buzbee's BBQ is pretty good in Bandera as is Sid's Main Street BBQ.

All three are 100 times better than OST.
