So I'm likely changing cell carriers soon and was curious as to others' experiences with T-Mobile in San Antonio. Does anyone have anything good/bad to say about their coverage of our fair city?

I'm not familiar with their coverage in '09.

never had a problem with the exception of the eastside of Fair Oaks Ranch

Coverage is non-existent north of 1604 around Babcock/Kyle Seale Pkwy.

I live in Selma, work at Saws, no problems with coverage.

I live in northwest SA (Tezel & Guilbeau) and have no issues with coverage.

I had them for several years and never had a problem.

I am considering switching over to them. Does anyone know how their coverage is in New Braunfels and Pleasanton?

There are a lot of T-Mobile gaps on 281 north to the Red River. Plus one notable one along FM 1863 between Bulverde and New Braunfels. Coverage IN New Braunfels is good.

I've had T-Mobile for several years and within SA city limits is mostly OK.

That being said ... I've got a 'dumb' phone and don't send texts or use data as with a smartphone.

I had ATT, my wife had T-mobile. She had decent signal in most parts of town, but it always seemed that my ATT service had stronger signal. We both swtiched to Cricket (using ATT's signal), and are saving a lot of money.
