My wife and I are headed to SA this weekend for a wedding and will be staying near the airport.

Do you have any suggestions of where to eat Mexican food?

We may not have time to make it downtown to Riverwalk. Thanks.

Paloma Blanca in Alamo Heights is real close.

El Jarro de Arturo is a good one, located just north of the Airport at 281 and Bitters.

Guajillos at 410 and blanco has the best tacos al pastor in town. Most of there stuff is more interior Mexico so don't expect true Tex mex

Went for the first time last week. I'm a fan of la Gloria's al pastor but guajillos blew them away

Guajillos has some of my favorite salsa in town.

El Milagrito has some random hours, but is just north of downtown near Trinity U so you don't have to mess with downtown parking. It's very good.

AAM's suggestion is perfect for breakfast but they typically close after lunch as i recall.

For dinner I would go to Paloma Blanca as recommended above, Mary Lou's off McCollough, or La Fonda on Main Street. All the above are located with in a few miles of each other and all are close to the airport.

Thanks everyone--we tried El Jarro de Arturo, and it was fantastic. Wish we had some of those home made tortillas right now.
