Acenar is a good suggestion. Uber from the Hampton will probably be all of five bucks, or you can walk depending on the weather. Get a top shelf margarita on the rocks.

If you actually care about the taste of your food then neither of these. If you just want atmosphere go ahead. Bottom line is that the Riverwalk restaurants don't do food, they do the experience. If you want good food I would just Uber it to the Pearl (5 min) and go to Southerleigh if you are from out of town. Other choices in that area are Cured or the Granary. All good choices for the out of town crowd.

I think the last time we were in San Antone was for our Alamo bowl game years ago. I want great tasting food and the majority of the time where the locals eat.

We will look over yalls recs and make a decision. Thank you for the advice.
