I used hunt down there a lot and would hit up the Dixie Rose. Pretty terrible as far as titters go, but the only one down there I'm aware of.

Why is Lytle considered San Antonio? Can't it just be its own shiety place on the map.

Keep in mind it could have been infinitely sadder. The OP could have Rule #1'd the "staff" at whatever the hell that tatter is in Lytle.
Or even more worser, OP could have been directed to come into SA to see the world famous bars, like The Rainbow Lounge or Candilejas.
I have a friend that lives in Lytle. He said they call it the dirty rose.

So driving past DR on Saturday night on my way home from Cotulla, the parking lot at this place was packed.
