I currently have GVTC fiber and the price keeps creeping up. Anyone know what is the best deal for tv and Internet? I have 8 MPS and no movie channels but have SEC Network ($140/mo total).

I use Uverse and have home phone, Internet, and one of the larger packages for tv, and 6 receivers for $200/month

No problem, just keep in mind i have a ton of receivers and all the movie channels.
Best way to get a price is to call and let them know your needs. Good luck

Just made the switch to directv.

$70 a month for TV and Internet. I've only had it for a few days, but everything is working great. No clue what speed the Internet is, but I haven't noticed a difference from when I was with uverse.

We just recently changed to AT&T Giga-Power internet and Tv. I would 100% advise that you call AT&T and ask for a GigaPower specialist. They are much more knowledgeable and helpful than the normal customer service people. The kicker- it is not widely available just yet. We have a house in Alamo Ranch where the Fiber was laid before construction so we lucked out. The fastest internet available- we can stream any number of devices, movies, etc all at the same time with zero problem. The TV also comes in a better picture. The best part, we only pay 120 a month for TV and Internet combined. Free install, Free HBO, etc along with a 3 year price lock. CALL THEM NOW!

While not gigabit, Time Warner has upgraded most of the San Antonio area - I'm paying $45 per month for 100mbps. They've offering up to 300mbps. Never tried their tv, I rotate between Dish and DirecTV.
