I played for the Rohawks back in the day( graduated high school in 2009). It was a lot of fun, it gave me coaching and competition I wasn't getting anywhere else. I love my dad but he was/is not exactly a guru.
Not sure what the program is like now, but I imagine it's still a good option.
There are a ton of AAU teams in the city. Went with a buddy of mine to his 8th grade sons tryouts and there had to be 60 kids fighting for 10-12 spots.
I did not know that. That's kind of the deal with AAU though, teams and coaches are always changing. Coach Richardson was who I played for, if he is somewhere maybe check that team out.
