Our family (with 3 kids) will be in SA this weekend. Trying to find a good place to watch the Friday game with other Ags. The Aggie Club is hosting some sort of movie night. Will the movie be the game instead? Their contacts have been unresponsive to my inquiries. If not, is there a goto family friendly place?

Call over to Aggie Park 210 341 1393 after 9a and talk with Mark Osborn. I'm sure he can give you a number of options and maybe there will be a viewing at the Park. On the website the movie is scheduled for Friday 8 April.

One option would be the back room at Club Humidor on Huebner. But you'll have to put up with a bunch of old dudes, playing poker, drinking whiskey, smoking cigars and telling bad jokes.

What part of SA?

Freetails or Cover 3 should have plenty of Aggies

If you are on the Riverwalk, check out Charlie Wants a Burger. The food is good, nothing fancy, and the beer selection is great. It's small but they have quite a few tv's.

I called and they won't be showing it at the Park. She wasn't aware of any set locations for watch parties but suggested Little Woodrow's, as that is where SA Ags meet to watch the football games.

It was pretty terrible trying to get in/out of downtown, so we stayed at the Riverwalk and went to Give Charlie a Bone. Food was decent, although my burger was overcooked. There were a couple of other tables there with Ags there, not a ton, but plenty of screens. Not many Ags in SA at all, at least not in the downtown area. Lots of whorn shirts. That was pretty sweet Friday night

Come out to northside, there are tons of us along 1604/281/10. Most anywhere you go will generally have pretty good representation.
