I won't have room in the next casa so am thinking about selling my fridge. It works great so I may end up putting it out at the family ranch, but if I can get some decent cash for it I'll sell it. I just have no idea what to list it for. It was just under $900 new from Lowe's in October 2007.

So I don't expect to get anywhere close to $900, but it's in great condition and I assume someone out there doesn't want to have to spend retail to get a high quality fridge.

There's a small dent in the front bottom door. The ice machine has never been hooked up. The interior of the fridge is in great shape. No cracked compartments or anything like that.

What should I be asking for something like this? Or, even better, who wants to make an actual offer?

Honest answer, keep it and use it as a garage refrigerator.

It's over 8 years old. Things break given enough time, no matter how much you maintain them.

It's probably worth about $100-$150.

Yeah, I'm prepared to move it out there if I don't catch anyone who really wants this type of fridge. And I honestly don't know what commonly goes out in them and if it'd be worth repairing.

I wouldn't have believed I bought it that long ago if I hadn't found a reference in my Gmail from 10/07.

That thing is perfect for a beer fridge/deer meat freezer in the garage. Keep it.

Got a $200 offer from a dude thinking the same thing today. If the fiance and I can find room in the garage I'll consider it. As it stands things are pretty cramped. We'll see.

In other news - Chela's shrimp taco is the best shrimp taco I've ever had.

Chela's little food truck over by UTSA had some fantastic carne guisada. Smother it in whatever their green sauce is and enjoy.
