Window world. Good product at great price. No gimmick sales team.

I've talked to window world, window depot and precision windows. I went with precision only because I felt more comfortable and the owner wasn't bashing the other 2. He simply talked about his product and employees. I'll let you know in a few days how it goes.

I replaced all my windows in an older house south of Houston with Don Young Windows (based in Dallas?) 17 years ago. We moved to North of New Braunfels last year and needed to replace some builder grade Windows. Was so pleased with the DYC experience, I contacted them on their website. Never considered any other brands. Heard from one of their dealers* in Wimberley who did a great job. Lots of dealers push vinyl which are cheaper but I love the DYC aluminum windows with thermal breaks to prevent thermal transfer. Much stronger and hold up better long term than vinyl IMO.

* my dealer represents several manufacturers including Anderson among others. He put DYC in his own house.

I am pleased with my new widows. The trim that is put on is a lot to be desired. I am ending up having to redo and cover most of it. As for the Windows the are great.
