I have spent the last ten years as a Landman for oil and gas companies and it is time for a change. I have lots of experience with researching public records, locating people and negotiating all different types of agreements. Prior to that I spent 10 years in the rental car business in management and fleet. I have a BS in Geography class of 2002.

Any leads or ideas would be welcomed.

No real help, but have you tried the title companies? I imagine that would be right up your alley.

I have spoken to a bunch of them about doing mineral research but not about direct employment but I might look into that but I'm kind of hoping fora new challenge.

There was a recommendation on another thread to look into land acquisition with homebuilding companies or commercial builders.
