I'm in the market for a 2500HD. Any of you guys/gals sell trucks?

Have to agree! FIL is the finance director there so that helps.

Probably doesn't hurt to get the friends and family discount. How about hooking us up with that?
quote:FYI - I was able to get a better price from the internet guy than the actual sales guy with Cavender. I got the sales guy to give me his best price. I said its just too high and I would pass. I found the suburban online and called the internet sales guy and said if he could get it for X, which was about $1,000 under the price sales guy could get me, I would be there in 30 minutes to buy it. He said let me see what I can do. He called me back in 15 minutes and said come in we have a deal. The uncomfortable part he put me back with the original sales guy to do all the paperwork. The sales guy said, heck if you can get a better deal from him (internet guy), why wouldn't you (he mentioned they have more leeway in pricing fwiw). No attitude and was very helpful. His name was Earl Floyd. Really liked the guy.
Test drove at Cavender Chevrolet yesterday, and Ancira Chevrolet today. An almost night and day experience.
The salesman at Cavender was friendly and understanding when, at the end of the test drives, I told him I would be looking at other dealerships to weigh my options. He completely understood and was very helpful.
The salesman at Ancira must have been having a bad day. Made his pitch about the truck, spoke little during the test drive (even when answering truck questions), and decided to cop an attitude with me when I told him I was still weighing my options, and would not be buying today. I may still do business with them, but I'm going to always remember today's less-than-pleasant experience.
