Girlfriend and I have been literally watching them take a year to build the facility so naturally we had to check it out on opening night. 1. Bowling Alley has huge screens and reasonably priced. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes 2. The food selection is nothing fancy and nothing near Draft House. But decent. Waited forever but to be expected. 3. Very nice full bar by bowling alley and another beer-wine bar on the other side. 4. Amazing! And I mean amazing actual movie theatre. Electric reclining seats with a screen that looked bigger than IMAX. Claim to be worlds first all laser projection but that's beyond me in terms of impact. ........... And the downside. And I feel borderline arrogant and almost bad saying this. While this facility is outside the loop next to a rather nice area, the patrons seem to be 100% from inside the loop. Plenty of law enforcement around but I have a feeling this place will have its issues in that department.

Agreed. I have this problem with alot of the newer, supposed-to-be-nice establishments around there.

I know this may come as a shock to some of y'all, but there's absolutely no shortage of cheap/****ty neighborhoods outside the loop as well.

I never know which loop people are talking about on this board, I don't think half of the people that think it's funny to put that up on this board know either.

If you live right in the Alamo Ranch area- not potranco or wiseman or Tally- you know exactly what I mean. And inside loop to me means 1604. Inside 410 is an entire different story...... Obvious disclaimer being I'm simply talking about the immediate area where Culebra and 1604 intersect. And yea for all you grumpy "know it all" types, there are also a few sketchy areas outside 1604 including a large mobile home park. So please save yourself the time before typing yet another moronic comment. Anyways.... Was just meant to give everyone a snapshot of the new movie complex. Didn't mean to offend anyone.....

Wifey and I are planning to check it out this Friday. Looking forward to having a nice theater so close to the house!

Culebra lol. I laughed the first time someone mentioned living out that way not as a joke but as like something to be desired. I mean it's just not that far from horrid little third world 'hoods. Like it's the same bus route.

Oh well. Part of the master plan: flight from the interior to outside of 1604. Let the poors move out to move up, then all the decent folks can move back into SA's prime housing stock near downtown.

The theater is one block outside of 1604 and within a mile of tons of crappy neighborhoods and you expected no poors! lol

Like the Pallidum with Greek architecture surrounded by mission style with a Bass Pro Shop mixed in.
