My husband started a new flying job out of ABIA and we are considering buying a home in the NB area. Bad idea? His commute times will probably be earlier or later than most. Any help is appreciated!

Yes, I'm still glad I turned down the opportunity. It's a rare day that 35 is clean. That said, your hubs could take the toll from Buda to ABIA and back. If his work will pay for the tolls, or if his salary offsets the toll cost, the drive will be MUCH nicer than 35 to 77 to ABIA. And 85mph doesn't hurt.

Thanks for that link. I should probably add that he's a pilot and won't be making that drive every day...probably 3 times per week and not during your normal rush hour. He's been driving 1:45 from CS to ABIA so it's all relative, lol.
